wise beijing 5 nov
so wise big summit in qatar is henceforth only once every 2 years next nov 2017
but it has minisummits - including one in beijing 5 november 2016 http://economistdiary.com
queries circulating http://gycommunity.com include
who is on organising team of beijing - is there a way we can develop sepcial briefing for abed family
on what new best opportunities are
when is the first time in GYchina diary that it would be convenient for some of us to come over to beijong:
coffee clubs witjh sme students you pick becauyse gtey have particularinterests
interviewing people of beijing wise if possible - maybe mostoifa could get brac to list some questions they would like to know
in next mail i am sending transcripts of dc's bigest annual education summit- my point is while they praise brac as one of top 10 educatirs they are so out of date on what they know
Translation Errors mine alone chris.macrae@yahoo.co.uk dc text 240 316 8157
given that sir fazle was wise's first laureate - is it reasonable to assume that wise beijiong would like to make sure it knows what its first laureate is most interested in learning? i understand that my english language is sometimes too direct but pleasse tell me if you do not know how to translate why i am asking this questions as urgently helping GYcommunity if we are able to mediate them

WISE undertakes on a year-round basis; successful programs such as the WISE Awards, the WISE Prize for Education, and the Learners’ Voice all carry unique imprint. I know that you all join me in thanking Dr Abdulla for his outstanding contributions to WISE and wishing him continued success as he takes on new leadership challenges in Qatar.
Following the recent appointment of Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al-Thani as CEO of Qatar Foundation, I am pleased to let you know that WISE is now working directly with the Office of Her Excellency. WISE will support Sheikha Hind and her team in ensuring that Qatar Foundation continues to play a significant role in building the future of education in Qatar and around the world.
In this regard and after consultations with local and international stakeholders, WISE has decided to shift to a biennial cycle of summits to allow more time and resources to be devoted to pursuing our global and local research and outreach agenda. As part of this effort, WISE has launched a series of local and regional gatherings that will take place between global summits and to which we have given the tentative name of WISE@. I am very excited to let you know that the first two WISE@ events will take place in Tunis on 26 May 2016, and in Beijing on 5 November 2016. A third gathering will likely follow in Europe in early 2017.
